KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
Advocates for Disabled Americans, Veterans, Police, Fireman & Families ( ADA VETs) is a family oriented organization advocating for the rights of disabled. We pride ourselves in working closely with families to meet their needs. We know how important the family unit is, hence, our organization is comprised of family members, close friends, clients turned members and long time colleagues that work together closely to serve the disabled. These individuals have all become the ADA VETS family network.
The CEO, Darren Aquino, founded this organization due to his own challenges with his disability. He wanted to create an organization that would truly meet the challenging needs of the disabled population since there were very few options available. Most of the members and volunteers are also disabled, which makes this organization unique. Each individual  in the organization has dealt personally with a situation involving their own disability or a family member’s disability. The members and affiliates found Darren’s organization since they were seeking assistance in the disabilities area.
Every case is dealt with individualized care. No disability case is denied. We provide assistance for qualified disabled individuals from birth to senior.   We provide advocacy services for infants and toddlers receiving Early Intervention Services, for children and teens receiving services from the Board of Education, (CPSE, CSE),and  individuals that need assistance with Social Security benefits, 911 1st responders that have developed ailments, disabled Veterans, Police and Firemen. We hope that we can be of service to you.

Glenn Goss & Steven Bauer (left)

Through collaboration with Advocates for Disabled Americans, Veterans, Police, Firemen & Families- Darren Aquino, Glenn  Goss and Steven Bauer, a unique collective has developed to address the global crisis of bullying which has lead to the death and ruination of the lives of many teens and adolescents, the most recent being 12 year old, of Rebecca Sedwick.

The Collective will address bullying, but also will specialize in disabled  victims of bullying. A very large number being autistic. The current state of bullying involves 90% of children that have been diagnosed with this spectrum disorder.

Steven Bauer & Al Pacino-SCARFACE

Bullying  is poisoning our country in epidemic proportions.

As we approach this global crisis, we must come together in communities, neighborhoods, schools, the workplace…

Rebecca’s death has caused a great amount media coverage regarding bullying, however, It has been present for decades,  without a remedy. The main addition to this form of social and emotional assault has been the role that massive social media has played, which reaches millions.

We must attack the root of the problem. it doesn’t just happen. we must identify where it begins…

What has upset the social balance of our society?

We have created a tactical support program against bullying with other partners. We cannot do this without  partners. The act of reaching out and spreading awareness alone, requires a great deal of support.

Success relies on your contributions.

TACTICAL SUPPORT PORGRAMS WILL INCLUDE PARTNERSHIPS THAT WILL HAVE:

  • BULLY FREE ZONES
  • BULLY SAFE ZONES
  • BULLY PATROL SCHOOL MONITORS aka BULLY PATROL
  • BULLY FREE MENTORS

OUR MOTTO-SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING-SPEAK OUT AGAINST BULLIES
